My name is James CutrEra

& I am grateful that you have
taken the time to click ‘About Me’.

So thanks for that.

I have been a musician for many years of my life (playing in bands such as the Accidental Seabirds and Little Big Toe), but I have always had a strong interest in the fitness and health industry. I have tried all kinds of diets, exercise routines, and approaches - so I understand the plight of not being able to find something that works.

Most people make things way harder than they need to be, and in the process - end up getting injured, fatigued, or just frustrated with the lack of progress. It is a pattern of over-exercising and/or overthinking for minimal results. I've been there for sure.

I’ve gone from running 5ks to marathon training to vegetarian diets, to vegan diets - from one extreme to the next. When I finally had my worst exercise-related injury, I ended up breaking both of my ankles simultaneously. I knew it was time to switch up my mindset once and for all, and change to something sustainable in the long term. I really like to exercise, but I really don’t like being injured - and I don't like to see other people get injured.

Following long-term approaches, with slower (but surer) results can really result in immense changes. I've become leaner and stronger than I have ever been - while progressing into the middle part of my 30's. I want to teach others how to do the same.

Tracking my diet and my progress has really been the key, though I’ve picked up a bunch of useful and simple tips/tricks along the way. But the key ingredient was a balanced approach to my diet and my exercise routine. Simply put, I now do less with better results, and I am always looking for the most efficient way of getting things done.

I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out what I want to do in life, going from one job to another (in the typical Office Space cubicle environment) - and I realized that it's time to take action and really do something I love that allows me to help people. I am certified from the National Academy of Sports Medicine - however, I wanted to take my knowledge and apply it to online clients as well, as I feel I can save them invaluably on time spent researching every piece of nutrition and training advice. Instead, I can free up so much of your time by implying the principles of training that work efficiently and effectively.

I am in love with strength training. The discipline involved has gotten me past some really hard times – and has taught me a lot about myself, especially regarding my constant development of patience, focus, and understanding what I want out of life, as well as what I don't want. These tools are crucial in leading a healthy and sustainable lifestyle - and can be applied to anything.

My main goal in life is to help other people achieve their goals in the most enjoyable way possible, whether it is strength training, or just getting in better overall shape. I've spent a lot of time soul searching, and I feel this is my calling.

I hope you make the investment

to your long-term health,

& start the process.

I’d love to be a part of it
